TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Enter the maximum amount you are prepared to bid for items in order of preference if you
want. Lots are secured at one step above the second highest bid received. Phone bids 
are accepted but please  confirm by mail,(In case of lots dispute with lot numbers etc.) 
As bidders often list  bids totalling more than they wish to pay for, you may limit the 
amount you are prepared to pay on Bid for-space provided. "Buy" bids are not 
accepted and all bids are confidential. Unsuccessful bids 
will not be notified unless 


ESTIMATES 
 
Most estimates are in fact RESERVES and no bids under will be accepted 
unless reserve price has been set at an unrealistic price.
 
POSTAGE AND PACKING : All the postage and packing to be paid by the recipient.
  
DESCRIPTIONS

Care is taken to describe lots within the confines of space available and gives a reasonable 
impression of their condition. Any ITEM/ITEMS found to be incorrectly described however can 
be returned within 7 days (Overseasclients taken into account) provided that they are in the same 
condition  as sent.

CONDITION OF COVERS AND PPC'S 

V.F.   Very Fine. In clean condition and postmarks clearly legible. Possibly 
        with very minor imperfections depending on age.

 F     Fine. Above average for age. Postal markings tending to be weaker but
        general overall appearance presentable to the eye.

 G     Good. But possibly with stains and closed tears, back faults etc. 
        Adhesive not the best condition but reasonable and still worth having 
        if scarcer. 

FAIR   Fair. Been through lots of wear and tear, lacking lustre. Price will
        dictate will collector requires it.
  
POSTMARK GUIDE 

*       Poor          Of low quality and generally unreadable.
**      Fair          50% or more visible and readable, could be under inked.
***     Good          Reasonable and average strike most normal, may have slight 
                          imperfections.
****    Very Fine     Fully readable and very well struck.
*****   Superb        Mainly confined to philatelic mail but sometime on 
                          commercial.

 Gage) plus many more specialised e.g. Prouds etc.

 PAYMENT
 Payment to be paid in STERLING. You can send cheque drawn on a British Bank or you can send CASH
 in Sterling or Major currencies i.e.. U.S. Dollars or  European such as D-Marks, Gilder etc. But if 
 sending cash that is NOT sterling please add £2.50  equiv. for for exchange commission by the bank.
